thanks to the forum
I sold the 96 E300 today so I will not be around as much but still will drop in here from time to time as I am keeping one eye open for a 99 E300 sometime in my future. The 96 was the wife's car and she really did not care for it so I sold it.
The market for diesels is good for sure right now. I sold it in one day on craigslist to the first person that called and he drove from the bay area to get it. I only owned it for only 6 months but made 2k off it in the end. I want to thank everyone who helped me solve my problems in your responses or the ones I found searching. Great forum!

I don't think so but you may see it around your area the guy was from Walnut Creek. Its a silver E300 with tinted windows.

good point, but when your bumper to bumper on the 680 the turbo dosent help much.
That is why you should just sell yours to me, I know its well taken care of.

speaking of salvage the only other two w210's I found in the bay area both were salvage titles. One guy is asking 16k for a salvage title 99 with 100k on the car. -good luck
