So my glow plug light started flashing after I would start the car so I changed all the glow plugs. Everything seemed fine for about a day, now the glow plug light doesnt light up....except for every now and then. Any ideas?

Which car, which style of glowplugs? Series or parallel? Check the voltage at the plugs and check the strip fuse.

I assume the 300SD? Mine was wacko last year. It would flash exactly 14 times. I changed all the glo plugs, (champions) same thing. I swapped the glow plus with the ones on my 300D (Bosch) and then it only did it occasionally. I ordered a new set of Bosch, and changed the number one first and the problem went away. The number 1 seems to be a key to the system on the 116 300SD.

It's the 300sd, I did replace them with Champions. Thanks for the input.
