one hot 123 diesel in movie

Anyone see this movie, "Unattended Minors"? My kids rented it last night and I was horrified when they blew up a nice, red, veggie 123 The car saw some good screen time up to that point. If there was a thread about this before, my apologies...
And if you attempt to watch the movie (which I thought was rather bad) be forwarned- its not pretty

Is it a new release? I'll look for it next time I'm in Blockbuster.

I haven't seen 'Unattended Minors', but I recently caught the second half of the 2003 film 'City of Ghosts' on cable, starring James Caan, Matt Dillon, and a W123 240D involved with shady deals and murder in modern-day Cambodia. Confusing plot but great atmosphere.

Sorry, I had that title wrong- its "Unaccompanied Minors". My 'bad', as my daughter ponted out.
Lewis Black (the comedian) is in it. Bunch of kids are stranded in an airport at Christmas and one the the kids' parents is a veggie benzaholic who tries to drive to the airport to retrieve his kid...the subplot follows his journey that includes a "do I put regular diesel in the tank," the 123's demise, and then a Hummer dilemma. I'd explain, but its better if you waste (er, spend) your $$$ to see it.
Actually, its clear that the director has issues w/ veggie folks. Watch the movie and you'll see his 'science' knowledge of the subject was lackin'...

Putting diesel into a car setup for veggie killed it? Yaaaa....I dont think they understood that concept

Glancing over the movie plot and reviews, it looks terrible

Well, W123 enthusiasts should get an extra thrill as (according to the preveiws) a red 300TD co-stars with Steve Carrel in the new film 'Dan in Real Life'.

Not a Steve Carrel/Office fan and haven't seen the movie, but didn't think it had been out long enough to be a flop. I'll probably wait until it gets to cable anyway, then tape it. Won't be the first time I've saved a movie on tape that was considered a bomb, just for the cars!

Just watched Dan In Real Life, definitely not a great movie. Pretty boring beyond the 300TD.

It's a "chick-flick" and not too bad. My wife and I watched it and enjoyed it.
