What kind of engine is this?

I'm stumped! It looks like a 603 but everything is strange. Aftermarket?

Fast forward to 3:00 minutes.

Its a SWB post 86 car, with a 603? That coolant tank looks like its from a 617 powered 300SD. Some parts under the hood look like they are from a W124.

Interesting car.

No problem with the link for me.
It's certainly a 603 turbo engine but AFAIK they were only in US 126's. This guy must have swapped one from a 124.

looks just like my engine on my 87 300D but the coolant tank, airbox, and another thing ive never seen before

For everyone to see.

It has SLS, the coolant bottle is definitely not from a 603 and the airbox is not from a W126 as the snorkel is not on the front corner. I'm betting it's a 560SE converted with a 87 300D/TD.

Thats what I am thinking. What is strange is that its turbo charged. I thought that all 603's of that vintage in Europe were NA?
