There's still a little left in there when its off, not much though. I replaced my oil pressure sender today (very easy to do) and when I removed the old one about 1/4 of a quart came out of the opening....

While this thread is here....

Spec for a 616 4 cyl is apparently is 6.5 quarts. Should I expect that much out? All I have right now is a gallon so if 6 quarts are coming out I better pick up some more oil!

What is the relationship here between low oil level and oil in the air cleaner? I have an 84 300D and am getting oil in the air cleaner. After I cleaned my K&N filter the problem seemed to go away. I had a lot more power and assumed because of the restricted air flow, I was sucking oil up the drain tube. But the problem is back so I am going to replace the check valve.
