New House :) , New Car Problems :(
Hey all,
Just finished moving to my new place. I now have a garage :D On the down side, my 300D just decided to christen it by dropping a handful of parts on the floor:P
Both my camera and FSMs are in boxes and I'm not sure which ones, so I'll post pics when I find the camera. In the mean time I'm driving my truck with no AC. Anyone have any idea what these parts are from? I'm just thankful that it happened in the driveway and not the road where I wouldn't know I lost the parts... Cheers, -nB |
are the numbers the length of the bolt? and the washers od, id or what? thickness? ferrule? no idea. if the #'s are id... wow, no idea. that's a big washer.
I will wait for the pictures to speculate. |
Could that be hardware from an engine shock?
Pics will most likely tell-the-tale...... |
sounds like the exhaust bracket grommets where it mounts on to the back of the transmission.

I ordered one from fastlane, should be here today, $38.00 for the kit. I Micky Moused mine together for a long time, but it is time to bite the bullet and replace it. Charlie |

To answer other questions: The numbers are bolt length, OD of the washers, OD of the Ferrule. The bolt shows erosion and wear in the middle of the span, likely where the ferrule was. I was thinking engine shock as I just had one of those replaced (only had to pay for parts, as the mechanic had it out anyway as part of another job). Alas, the garage is full of crap from moving, so there is no way for me to get under the car at the moment. -nB Edit: it is not this: http://img.eautopartscatalog.com/live/H800076623OES.JPG |
