Angry Electric drivers seat malfunction!!

Hey guy's.

My drivers seat stopped functioning.
All i hear now is a clonk every time i touch the seat switch..Its set to the most rear position, and all that works is the seat back, nothing else...
Anyone had this happen?
Any suggestion?

The little drive cables that go from the gear mechanism on the seat to the row of motors on the bottom of the seat often become disconnected when old. Replacing them solves the problem. Your problem is likely that the seat drive cable for the two functions other than recline have come disconnected. Pretty common problem....have to take the seat out to fix it, but with it out its not that hard. I may even do it on my car sometime in the near future. If my front to back motion fails I will pull it, but right now just the lumbar height doesn't....which doesn't bother me. I've never seen one where the recline function doesn't work....very odd. Unless the motor is direct drive for that part...not sure.

Well I tried, tried and tried...But no avail
All my wires are connected properly and nothing loose.Just that damn clonk i hear every time I try and move my seat forward, but nothing moves, only still my seat back moves forward or back.
Could it be that the motors are shot?

By drive cable I mean a physical force-transfering-cable, like whats used on a mechanical speedometer. Motor spins the shaft inside the cable, which then connects to the gear assembly somewhere on the seat. That cable comes loose at one of the ends, so the motor runs and the componenet doesn't move. Its not an electrical issue.
