This is a wicked Unimog RV
|
That is one serious recreational vehicle. :D

hard to believe the 45K and still not met reserve... I wonder what this thing will go for? what do you suppose her reserve is?
|
If you get the right two bidders, it will bring real money. It appears to be unique, it would cast someplace in the low six figures (and a lot of time) to reproduce.

That is one serious off road RV. Reminds me of one that sold a few years ago on Ebay. Owner had driven it from Chile to the US. Had serious lockdown features on all doors and windows with a hatch on the roof designed for protection from bandits.

That thing is serious. Check the interior (or lack thereof). Talk about utilitarian.

I don't think that even this one could get me far enough into the country to get away from my wife if I bought it.........

Unbelievable-my neighbor had an old Belgian Army Mog and the thing was really almost too much fun-unstoppable! we used to take it camping all the time-but this thing is on a whole other level. Thanks for sharing.

What a monster! Strip it down a bit and it would be ready for the Dakar Rally. Seen a few of the newer Diesel Pinzgauers in Europe fitted out for back country camping but this Mog makes those look like a Winnebago!
How did they ever get that thing into the US? It is only 21 years old so it had to be Federalized in order to get it titled and registered for street use. That alone must have cost a bunch! |
Mogs are great
Mercedes Enthusiast magazine has done a couple of Mog stories not to mention some of the trucks they've made. The Mog would be the ultimate poseur vehicle to go through the Starbucks drive-through. Kind of makes the Cadillac Escalator look even worse than normal.
Since this vehicle is in AZ, I calculate the cost to drive it to Iowa to be about what the vehicle is bringing right now. Regards, Randy Kasal |
