1985 - 300CD Turbo.
I recently removed the valve cover for polishing. I installed the valve cover using a new M/B gasket. Since the installation I have noticed oil weeping form around the last three injectors. The flow is slight but before no leak.
So I went back and re-torqued the V cover, seems to be better but not dry.
Question: Is there any trick/sealant to installing the cover?

no sealant.. just 11 ft lbs of torque on each bolt... do it in an X pattern when tightening.. if you are up to it remove the valve cover and the gasket.. and put on a known flat surface to check for warping.

That gasket is easy to get out of position during installation, carefully inspect to make sure it's on properly, good luck.
