MB guys in Houston - salvage yards?

Question for Houston area MB guys - can you recommend some salvage yards/shops for obtaining parts - gauge clusters, trim pieces, etc.?

thanks,

Charlie

Houston Salvage

There is a great MB salvage yard on Harwin - I don't remember the name of it, but it's on the South side of the street about 1/2 way down the street.

North Shepherd (north of 610 and south of I45) near Crosstimbers, too.

It's not A&B, it's Lone Star if you turn onto Harwin from Gessner, it's a mile or so down on your righthand side - 9325 Harwin - it's kind of easy to miss because it only has a narrow driveway entrance, but once you go through the office and into the back, it's an ocean of MB's and big warehouses with engines, transmissions, wheels, etc already off the cars and ready to go.

I've frequented Pick A Part for the past 15 years. They usually have a few MB diesels.

I think they were recently bought out by new management who now charges $5 to enter

The place on Shepherd is Milton Motors. It's on the northbound side between W. Montgomery Rd. and Parker Rd.

Maybe it was BS, but I went into Milton once and the dude in the office told me they don't part out the cars. They only "maybe sell the whole interior, or the whole car or something like that"...

...eh

Milton is run by a jerk ,believe me Ive delt with the guy 5 times now .Dont go their thinking youll be getting a good deal .The only time his stuff has value when its hard to find elsewhere. He wanted $900 for a set of amg wheels and tires that were scratched up so bad I wasnt even going to consider them ,just wanted a price to get a range. His inventory consist of a good range of 123 chassis ,I would say 4 123 sedans 3 300cd 2 300tds ,4 300sd,8 190e s, etc etc.

Good luck! When I went to Milton, he told me that they had shipped all 123's to Paraguay. This was sometime last year though.
