1996 E300D K40 module location

This is my first Merc and I am trying to install a K40 module that I just received yesterday in the mail.
I hope it solves my car cutting out.
But can anyone tell me where exactly the K40 is located.
The car is a 1996 E300D.
Also if anyone can tell me where I can get the best deal on a manual for the above car.

Right hand side (passenger) computer box. Front most unit.
