Question about Climate Control

Last winter ( my A/C didn't work ) when using heater, cold air would come through A/C vents, so I taped them shut. This year I got the A/C fixed. The other morning I tried the heat and I guess the A/C runs too. Is that the way it was designed, or is my control bad? Seems like one defeats the other. Thanks

Thats the way ti was designed. Use the Econ mode if you want. AC just dries the air.

The compressor runs in all setting except econ.

Do you know the condition of the vacuum pods that operate all the vacuum doors? The question is whether the vacuum doors are not functioning properly or the CCU is not providing the proper signal to run the doors.

If you have a Mityvac, it'll take a few hours to do some checking to see which pods are functional and which are not (if any).

I thought ECON was outside air, no A/C compressor running. I'll have to look into vacuum
doors. Many thanks!
