1980 300CD vacuum hose question - blue hose?
I have another question about my 1980 300CD. This is a new car to me and I am learning the idiosyncrasies with the vacuum system.
I am trying to trace out a vacuum leak. As I look in the engine compartment, I see a loose blue vacuum hose coming out of the fire wall area. Does anyone know what a blue vacuum hose controls or where it should be connected? Are there web references or diagrams for vacuum hoses available for this car? Thanks for any advice you might be able to provide. |

On my '84 CD, a blue vac hose comes out of the firewall to a check valve, then to a brown hose that goes back into the firewall, haven't the foggiest as to where it originates, or terminates.
