Anyone know of any good bio on I-95 or 77?

May be making a trip to Florida this weekend, flying down, and driving back. Looking for some good true biodiesel along the way. Will be on I-95 from around Ft. Lauderdale to Columbia SC, then on I77 to Charleston, WV. Never actually ran REAL bio before, wanted to check it out, and we have NO stations here in WV that have it.

If you have never run bio in the car; being out of town with no tools and no extra fuel filters may NOT be a good time to start. Biodiesel is an excellent solvent and will clean ALL the dino diesel sludge out of the fuel tank......which will become lodge in the fuel filters.

I second that. First time on my wifes car I had to clean out the prefilter every few MILES.

What ya pickin' up? a w210? w123? w140? w126? w211?

Suspense is killin me. Although I have filled up in West Columbia, SC ... It's called United Energy (Marathon signs all over it though). They have B20 @ the pump. They are literally on your way back up to WV. The station is in the area where you would get off of I-20 and merge onto I-77. I've filled there a bunch of times but sometimes the fuel has been spotty. Haven't topped off in a while. Maybe the other people will chime in if even running B20 has any cleaning properties. If it does it would be very very light and probably just add to a smoother running engine...

Picking up a w210, 96 E300D. I thought of the solvent properties once I posted this, so maybe you guys are right, being away with no tools or spare filters doesnt sound like much fun.

On my way to FL recently. I stopped in GA @ exit 3 off I-95. There is a Petro that has some decent ULSD fuel AND a Quizno's inside. Needless to say that will be my stopping point from now on whenever I venture south. Hope that helps :D

Also, if there is an Advance Auto Parts in the area you grab the car, get some RedLine Diesel Fuel Catalyst. This is a good fuel additive and will help with any water is there is any in the tank.... Just lookin' out :-)

W210 Sex :pimp:

IN NC there are only B20 stations, none that I am aware of are near I77, perhaps if you wish to make an excursion into charlotte, I can show you where the two B20 stations are.

Where are they in Charlotte? I frequent N Charlotte often (exit 16 off I-77 area)
