Cruise amp repair
Who has done it and how. I have the amp out of the car and apart.
I have done electronics repair in the past and know what to look for as far as burnt componants, broken connections, etc. Nothing so far as I can tell. What contacts should be resoldered first? The ones for the pin connectors? There is about a million solder joints and I'm not crazy about doing all of them, I just want to hit the most likely before scraping it.

I hate to say this to you but resoldering them all is the only way. You will be pleased with the results..

I never got mine to work resoldering.
I did find a rebuild from a shop in Atlanta on buford hwy for $165 which I thought was pretty damn fair.

Mine wasnt working when i bought the car. I resoldered mine completely and it worked fine until my speedo went out. i checked continuity on the whole deal as well and found a couple of components out. My coding was still visible enough to determine what to replace them with. It will only take you an hour to do.
