My car has covered 38,000 miles, the oil warning came on 'add 1 Litre'
opened the bonnet to find the oil filter leaking,the sealing ring had poped out from the filter. I unscrewed the filter and refitted the 'o' ring.Started the engine left it running on idle, 5 mins later the 'o' ring popped out again.Seems like a pressure problem any ideas?

Shouldn't that still be under warranty? We don't have that engine here in the US....I am assuming you're in the UK....

I'd get it fixed at the dealer and don't let it get too low on oil. At 38,000 that engine is waaay too young to die a death from oil starvation! :eek:

Unfortunatley we only have 3 year warranty in the uk,thanks anyway ,john
