Front Seats!

Hello!
I have a 79 300sd. I'm trying to take out the front seats. Whats the easiest way to do this? I cant even get to the bolts. Is there some kind of trick to this?
Thanks

Don't know about the SD but on the D the seat must be forward and up to access the back bolts. Front bolts are easier.

Not familiar with the SD but on a D, side handle is back/forward and front handle is up/down (or vice versa).
I thought the SD's had electric seats.

yes that is it. I would get in the back seat and use my foot to push the seat forward while lifting the elevator handle. Also the seat must be all the way forward to expose the rear bolts.

Have ever moved the seats foward for short people to drive and back for tall people?

That is what you have to do to get to the seat rail bolts.
