Heads Lights don't Flash '86 126.
When I pull back on the headlight dimmer stalk, the headlights do not flash nor does the high beam light in the instrument clusted illuminate.
I think its a bad switch in the steering column. Anybody agree? Is there a relay someplace. But the relay (if any) works for the high/low headlights. How do I remove the stalk/switch from the steering column? P E H |

Paul, you're referring to the combination switch. It's got the lights, washers and wipers all in the one switch.
You'll need to pull the steering wheel to get that switch out. Also need to pull the cluster as the plug is directly behind it. Make sure you rig up a device for countertorque when you loosen the 10mm cap screw for the wheel..........DO NOT use the steering lock. |
