diff r & r shortcuts?

anyone have a link to removal and replacement of the differential?
Mine's an 85, and wondering if there's a decent book, or link to a page with some shots of what holds the axles into the diff, and what needs to be undone to remove it. etc. Do I need to shim the new bits if I install a complete pumpkin? etc. thanks.
Mike

Start working on the front rear diff bolts asap, they are easily the most inaccessible bolts on the car.

C'mon now, they can't be any worse than the turbo drain tube bolts..... Or how about the turbo retaining nuts...? Love working on these things. RT
