300 SDL Drivers side electrics

The 1987 300 SDL I have been working on for the last six
months is coming along slowly. Here is a question I have had since I got the car home. Someone (not me) jerked all of the socketed pins out of the drivers side seat assembly. We are talking about 10-12 wires that would normally have been attached to two small rectangular plastic electrical busses approx 1"x 1" in size. These wires with the pins are part of the wiring harness which feeds under the carpet through an access hole and connects to the seat.My question is: does anyone have a simple wiring illustration showing how I can put these wires back in the correct holes? They are of course color coded. Moron's,total Moron that owned this car before. Both seats are out right now getting redyed. I am also recoloring vinyl interior same color. Thanks.

Hi Cliff.

I own a 1986 300SDL and I'll be happy to TRY to do a color code mapping if no one else has one.

Keep me posted.

Wiring map

Thanks Daw_two. I don't know how easy it's going to be for you to do so with your car intact.(I presume it's put together) My car is down to carpet and I am pulling vinyl trim off everyday recoloring it. By the way I bought my car in Memphis, but that's another story.

Great idea. I almost jumped up out of bed last night to check. I thought maybe I had missed something. Alas there are no numbers on the wires.
Thanks anyway it was a great idea.

300 SDL Front Passenger seat belt wire missing??

I have a factory electrical manual ordered to try and get me over the hump with all of these electrical issues scattered throughout the car. Yesterday I putting the front passenger side seat together and it dawns on me that I didn't recall seeing the seat belt wire that connects to the cable assembly where the seat belt latches. I'm talking about the wire that runs under the carpet from up under the dash. I couldn't find it last night. Presuming its like everything else done to this car, and it is gone; where does this connection terminate? Under the dash, where? I just checked again, why would anyone remove this?
