Should you even need a battery cooler? If you are pulling enough juice from the battery to heat it up to the point you need to cool it, you should probably look into upgrading the alternator or get a different type of battery.

I used to draw about 60amps to power 2x15 and 2x12 in my 200SX on a stock battery and alt. Granted I went through alts pretty quick but the batter never had a problemo.

That's why a capacitor is on the top of my parts list when I'm ready to install my 2x10" subs.

I have a huge capacitor on mine, it's called a healthy battery.
