Fuel strainer??? where and how?
Hey Folks.... Where to find the the fuel strainer on a 300D 1983?
Is it easy access or what.

If it is a sedan then it is under the back of the car above the differential. It has a large hex head and a fuel line coming out of the middle of it.
I don't know of any way to remove the strainer in frame without making a BIG mess. If the car is a keeper and you want to clean out the whole tank, the best is to remove the tank.

To remove a fuel screen in a D or CD, check out this thread:
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showpost.php?p=1613769&postcount=1 Wagons are a bit easier. If the tank has never been cleaned, you may wish to follow those threads and clean or changeout the fuel screen at that time. Good luck.
