New addition, another '83 300SD, pushing HOA

Drove home another 300SD yesterday. Spent today driving it. Good, rust-free South Texas body, Engine smooth as honey, a little doggy. Has a transmission leak from the passenger side, hope it is a pan gasket, I'll find out when I lift it next weekend. Shifts well, but a bit early for my taste.

Grey interior. Decent but dirty. Electrical issues with sunroof, antenna and ac/heater control. Needs shock absorbers. I would hate the alarm system that was installed except that I can sell it on Flea-Bay.

Not too many issues to make it overwhelming, enough that I got it cheap. Oh yeah, 206,000 miles, new brake booster, vacuum lines, AC compressor, tires, Pioneer stereo, battery and hand fuel pump.

Now bewteen the significant other and me, we have 2 300SD's, an '87 MR2, a 1995 Isuzu Trroper (she bought it non-running a few years ago because it was $6000 less than low blue book. Don't you love that in a woman?), a 2000 Ford Expedition and a 2003 VW TDI Beetle. Until we sell the POS VW, the driveway and street in front of the house are full. The home owners association already griped once before with four cars and a flatbed trailer.

@#$!#$ Looking at the first two pictures I realized we missed mowing and edging the side yard in front. Better go get it this evening or the HOA will be all over this place.

Anybody recognize the wheels?

Alamo,

That green 300SD looks like the same color as mine. Don't see many that color.

P.S. Tell the HOA I said to stick it in their ear or some place about 2 feet lower. LOL

I like those wheels too. What are they from? Maybe I'll look for those when my tires are worn out.....

Cost me $1450.

I don't know what the wheels are from, I was hoping someone could tell me. They are 15's. Makes for a little smoother ride.

Those wheels look like a AMG clone. I had a set and loved them- but they went with the 1980TD when it sold. Yes 15's PE- and with the lower profile tires my speedo was right oo and did not need calibration. Rims are a bit different however...
