Its fall, don't forget to check your drains!!!
For those of us that live in an area where leaves fall, don't forget to check and clean your car's drains. On the W126's the area between the fire walls fills up with leaves, don't let them accumulate.
I have seen some fires start in W126's because of this, a fuse blows or shorts and a spark goes into the dry leaves. Before you know it your car is up in flames.

Vacuum under the brake booster especially. That's where a resistor or fuse resides that gets hot and starts the aforementioned fires.

Drain
It's also time for rain and snow. Make sure the sunroof and other drains aren't clogged with dust and dirt from the long hot summer. I read somewhere that the plastic line used by garden trimmers works well to shove down through the drain holes.
