Wife's 300D 2.5L trans died

Man the thing even tore up the case. The tranny shop says they have all parts required to do the repair except the case as of yesterday.

I was just getting ready to order the new noozles when the thing threw craps. I new it was having problems and was putting off fixing till I saved up the dollars for the job. Oh well live and learn I guess. The wife loves the car, so I am having it fixed. It is the first car she has liked after a couple months in the 34 years we have been married.

Sorry to hear it. Mine failed at about 225K. Cost $1,500 for the rebuild.

I'm betting $1500 to $1800 due to the case being chewed up, but with my luck it will probably hit $2000. Repairing it was a lot cheaper then buying her a new car for sure.

Would not move in reverse unless you used heavy throttle, then wife got blocked in one day and forced it to back up. After that it would just manage to pull itself.

Final cost will be almost $2187 + tax due to having to buy a case to put all the parts in.
