84' 190D Gauges suddenly quit - help

The fuel gauge, water temp gauge and tach suddenly stopped
working while I was driving. I bought two manuals on ebay that
didn't help - neither had the correct wiring diagram. Does anyone
know where to start? Where is the instument panel grounded?
Where is the tachometer sensor? Thanks.

Curt

Does your fan blower still work. I know there are some gauges on that circuit, check the fuse.

the fuel/oilpreasure gauge works off the same fuse....#10 i think, it has a bridge linked to another fuse spot.
the tach is pluged in a wire that runs down thru firewall to bell housing were pickup is located.
if fuse looks good try another, get some die-electric grease in there.
also there isn't much room behind gauge cluster, may be wires vibrated off.........
