Euro OEM headlights, where, who and how?
Just a quick Q.
Where on this side of the pond can I find a set of OEM (Hella or Bosch) Euro headlights? My 1991 300TD turbo even though LHD came from Japan and has a set of RHD lights, not to mention the reflectoer is busted in one of them... Grrrr. Thanks for any input! |

You might also consider how much of the light has to be changed to switch it from RHD to LHD. Lenses for sure, and I'm not sure whether there is a difference in the reflectors, or whether the H4 bulb is mounted at a different inclination. Might be cheaper than you think, ... the fogs are the same.

I got them from Capitol West in Sacramento, in Sacramento, came with everything, even the amber dark orange corners, but that was about 5 years ago, (not sure if they stillstock them for the W126 now, I really like them. Bosch, H4, the best.
Around $550 for all of it, I think. One of the best upgrades I ever did. Makes night driving a pleasure.

Thanks a lot guys. Looking for OEM so I can keep the pneumatic adjuster functional (for the Wow effect) and quality (aftermarket plastic falls apart in your hands BTDT).

Ebay
Just picked up a pair of used Bosch out of the bay. $100 plus shipping. Have not seen them yet, but they looked OK in the pics. Hopefully they will be at the house when I get home next Sunday. So they are around, just need to be patient to find the right deal. I have been looking around for the last 2 months before getting these.
