Got a thumbs up from a fellow dieseler and passenger on the Eastex Fwy. in Houston
Was it you? I was in a petrol green 1982 W123 300D turbodiesel on the elevated portion of the Eastex Fwy. (US 59) in downtown Houston between I-45 and I-10. You were in a brown (looked to be 1976-1981) W123 300D non-turbo diesel with a bunch of bumperstickers on the rear window and rear of the car, I especially remember the 90.1FM and Veggie oil stickers. You also had some interesting one piece plastic shields protecting your US spec headlight assemblies. I pulled alongside you and your passenger gave me a thumbs up, possibly after seeing my small "powered by biodiesel" decal, I waved back. It would be interesting to know if this was a fellow forum member, or if someone on the forum knows this person. I've seen the car in the Houston area before, near HCC I believe.
