As nice a Euro cloth interior as you are likely to run across. Don't like the black spray paint as viewed from the lift shots.
No AC, No way...........
Nice example, though.

Very clean, but the 125 mph speedo is strange, why not a 100 mph speedo like the '83 U.S. spec car?

WOW! It's an authentic late W123 base Eurodiesel. No womder it is going for big money. It is the real thing. I love those. Those real low spec W123Eurodiesels don't usually have air conditioning, on them, either, (not essential in Europe) so, no question, it is the real deal here. Looks like it has the optional tinted and shaded front windshield on it, but little else optional.

I have never seen one, ever, that had a period correct euro Mercedes Benz dealer plate on the trunk lid, like that one from Vienna does. Interesting that the Mercedes dealer in Vienna had a Jewish name on the nameplate, that would have had "Diesel" script were a US car, mounted there..

What a neat little car, it would be like getting a new one. With those miles it will go for a high price. What a neat little car. I like it a lot. It would be like getting a near new W123, one of the very, very last ones off the line.

Wow.
The 125mph speedo is not wierd at all. Its a euro, so it certainly didn't come with a MPH speedo. If the gearing is right (which I am questioning) it should be ok. It clearly meants this car DOESNT have just 67k on it.
A euro 240d would haul a decent amount of but compared to its american counterparts. Those M pump rev higher and have a wee bit more power.
Still beautiful all the way around.

Manual trans, manual windows, AND a manual sunroof!

Cool.

This guy tends have some interesting MBs on ebay, but the cheesy black paint spray over is just plain bad taste.

I could definitely hit that.. First, I'd flush the brake fluid, then redo the battery tray, and replace the battery with a Mercedes one. He should have done that instead of the black paint underneath. IMO, of course.

I think it is a wreck, repair and repaint.

No hood pad, no evidence of hood pad, just fresh paint.

Hood springs and hinges are painted white.

Right front brace in front of the radiator is missing.

Engine corrosion doesn't match the rest of the car's condition.

Hood latch is painted white.

There is no wear where the rubber feet on the hood sit in the front, those little depressions on each side of the hood latch.

Paint is clean across the front, under the headlights and the lower wind deflector below the bumper - yet that deflector is bent slightly.

You wouldn't want to buy this without looking at it in person.

My opinion anyway.

That used car salesman has cheeseball, rip you off in a heartbeat written all over him. Would NOT buy that car from him. In my experience guys with cartoon characters and cans of black spray paint "for detailing purposes" should be avoided! Still, a neat and nice car before the black paint cover up...just MHO.

My euro didn't come with a hood pad, never had one as the paint was original.

There is only one brace if the car didn't come with AC, euro or not.
