1983 300D monovalve replacement?
Anybody remember the guy who had made a monovalve replacement with a vacuum operated heater control valve with a electric solenoid controlling the vacuum to the valve? I need to finally replace my monovalve that I bypassed because it was history and this seemed to be a good option.
My cumputer crashed and I lost the schematic! |

Monovalves are not that expensive. Why wouldn't you just buy a new one?

I agree...
The super cheap route would be to go to a junkyard and find a monovalve that works electrically - which shoudnt be hard - and then buy a monovalve rebuild kit for $40, plop the new plunger in there and you have a like new one.

Do you have a good source for a new monovalve? They seem to be getting scarce.

Anyway, I found the post here in the archives and I'll re-post it because Richard came up with a solution that really works! http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=188981 |

Just because its not being made doesnt mean the classic center can't make you one.. but it will probably cost $400
