No Heat, It's Cold, Help!!

I bought my very first MB last month and I am totally diggin it. My heat/ac/vent do not work at all. The defrost will put out a little of air. I think it might be a vac issue but do you all with experience think it is more of a blower of CC Unit issue?? Thanks a bunch and I hope ya'll have a great Turkey Day!

Zack, start by reading post 18 here: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=205840&page=2

Sounds a lot like the problem I had when I got my first 300D. Once you know the CCU and blower motor are working, if the warm air is not comming out of the right vents, you may have a vacuum problem.

If you need some help getting to the CCU, here is a great reference article that includes tearing into the dash. http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W123Evaporator
You don't need to remove the steering wheel for what you'll be doing.

Zack, is it putting out any heat at all?

If no heat then...One of the most common things to go and also easy to replace is the monovalve. take out 4 screws. replace guts of monovalve. reinstall 4 screws. viola. Cost for monovalve replacement....$20.
