I have a 84 300D Euro and I was wondering which way the adjustable headlights are supose to adjust. Right now mine are at 0 and I move the switch to 1-3 and they move down. Is that right.

That sounds right. Switching to 3 assumes you have a heavy load in the rear seat as well as in the trunk, so ideally the rear suspension will sag and the headlights, if non adjustable, will point higher. Shifting from 1-3 made it point down to return the light beam to the correct level.
