Accelerator kick down switch,,easy to install

I have been looking for advice or comments, little so far. Just wondering if this is an easy replacement part on my 1981 300d W123 sedan.

It says behind the accel pedal..is there alot of r/r involved or just plug and play?

Hey man it's very easy!! Just pull back the carpet a little for better access. I think you can get it out with a small screwdriver if I remember right. You will like the response from a new kick down switch.

very simple .. you may not even need a screw driver .. just un-do it from its circular housing and un-plug the connector .

My kick down is disconnected at the switch. With the Bodine cable properly adjusted I still get a down shift but smoother than when the KD switch is plugged in. How dose all this work
