W210 wheel spacer question
hello all, I also listed this ? on Tech Help. I just picked up some rims and winter tires for my wife's 97 E300D. The fronts seem fine but the rears are rubbing slightly on the inside. Does any one have any idea of what size spacers I need for these. The guy I bought them from ran them on his 98E320 before he sold it. He didnt mention needing any spacers on it. His receipt from 1997 when he bought them from Tire rack listed: 16 x 7.5 5-112 MBZ MM Star ET41' Mille Miglia. Were the wheels for diesels sized differently? They have the same stock size tires as both models. thanks in advance. Jim

Ten mm is probably the thinnist spacer you can get. H and Rs are really nice but pricey. Mine did not come with the longer lugs even though the picture showed them.

The first thing that jumped into my head is alignment. Is your camber adjusted correctly? Actually, I'm not even sure you can adjust that on these cars but I'm assuming so. A degree or a half may make the difference between rubbing and not...
