No more like kids out joyriding in stolen cars for the most part.

Up in Pa. where I grew up, there was an old abandon quarry that yeilded
over 200 cars back in the early 80,s..........most stolen.

It was kinda cool to see a car go off a cliff and fall 100 or so feet before
hitting the water.

Where I grew up all the stolen cars ended up being burned in a gravel pit, I used to find them when I was riding my dirt bike.

Needs paint and body work. You may find it has a strange odor.

Here is what my brother, who lives in the area, says:

"I have not heard nor seen anything recently, the last I had heard, this was some time ago. Every time the authorities have any reason to really search the local canals thoroughly, they find cars, bodies etc. I am sure the mob has been dumping their victims in the canals for many years. Easy to do and difficult to find since there are hundreds of canals down here.

There is no date on that web site so I do not know if this is a new search or not. Doesn't matter, "stuff" is always being found in the canals."

Well, what else is the Mob going to do in Florida? This is the equivalent of their "Meadowlands" . . . .
