rear window defrost won't shut off
 

It seems the rear window defrost buttom should be on a 10 minute timer from what I remember. But when I operate mine, it stays on until I shut the car off. (The light on the switch stays on, I am assuming the heat strips are on the whole time)

I read somewhere here, that this is not good.

Anyone have this happen?
