This one looks like my keeper.......My first 300D had the same "middle red" MB Tex interior but unfortunatley the car had too much rust, and the driver's seat looked like a 25 yr old seat.
So this has the Interior color, "low" miles, stamped dealer service records back to the original owner, and everything works.

There are a few minor things I need take care of. One being to clean up and treat a few small spots of surface rust, but considering it came from way way upstate NY it is very minimal.

Also came with blue MB carpet floor mats, so those will go in the '81
( FS still ) CD, and I am looking for burgandy MB carpet floor mats.....if anyone has a nice pair fs.

Is that a stock wheel on the front drivers side? Looks HUGE? Maybe its just the pic....but it looks like a giant rubber dough nut to me.... Seems to fill the wheel well more than usual.

VERY nice car though! I want a 300CD in my stable some day, they are coool.

Beautiful car! Takes me back to my first MB. Mine was white with Palamino interior.
Check the diaphram in the vacuum pump first thing. It will keep the oil off your pant leg down the road should it burst. Trust me on this

Absolutely sure on that? I just looked at a pic of our 300D and there's more room between the fender and tire than there is on your 300CD....and ours has stock 14" wheels/tires.

Maybe you have the coveted 15"?

Then again, I may just be going blind or seeing things. (maybe its because I want a set of 15" wheels so bad... )
