I have this installed on my car now except for the rear end. The sway bar links did go on my wifes car. My only complaint is that the tie rod ends were 3mm wider than the other ones although there were several different ones throughout the years. They parts are all made in Germany, although I have a strong feeling they are made on the east side and not the west.

Try pricing the front end pieces with OEM parts. If I do it again I will do with OEM, the price difference wasn't that drastic. In the meantime, all the parts are functioning fine and I have put one a few thousand miles of HARD and I mean HARD city driving. There are some on benzworld that have 10k+ with no issues and this was several years ago when I first bought the kit. FCP groton is indeed pretty well regarded I did some serious googling and I couldn't find one bad word.

Hi! Anyone else tried this suspension pack?
My suspension is really cranky, so im thinking of just replacing the whole deal and this pack looks really great. Thinking of buying one unless there is negative experiences round here..

Its OK. I recommend going OEM and paying the extra few bucks. It also doesn't inclue the 3 part LCA bearing, strut rod mount bearing or bushing.

It's also of pretty mediocre quality I think. My ball join boot is already busted.

Okay, thanks! That doesnt sound good at all.
Do you guys know a good shop that ships to Europe? Seems like most of the places you buy your gear only ships within US.

2.5 years later, every rubber boot is torn, my drag link is clacking and the lca bearing has cracking. I hope that OEM parts hold up longer.

Good info.

I've found the same with aftermarket FE parts. The first W126 guide rod bushings I ever replaced had 170K miles on them. Had to replace the aftermarket (replacement) ones again at a little over 200K.

I have put 5K miles on my ebay suspension parts and the idler bushing has failed. One of the tie rod end's boot is cracked.
Pay the extra money and avoid doing the work twice.

I would bet on it, my car has OEM steering components on it that were replaced not too long before I acquired the car, it has been 6.5 years and 75k miles so far, and they are still in good shape.

OEM seems to be the only way to go for steering/suspension components.

Also, beware that some parts are cast with the incorrect part numbers.

For example, the W116, 123 "FEQ" brand left upper control arm per the part number cast in the part is actually the right side part.

#123 330 4607 is the correct part number for the left siide upper control arm/ball joint. If you order this part you may receive a right side as in my case. Maybe even twice...

i can vouch for the suspension pack for the w201 that they sell on eBay, but if they are fiddling with part numbers on the 123/116 chassis, i'd email the seller to be sure exactly what p/n's i'd be getting
