If your talking about a "completely dry" system, as I remember I used a gallon of coolant plus a gallon of distilled water. The owners manual says 10.6 US qts so get a couple gallons of coolant.

The capacity in my 240 is 2 gallons, one gallon coolant, one gallon water.

I'd say I could put maybe 150 or 200 gallons in my car. 50 would fit in the trunk, another 75 in the back seat, and maybe 50 more in the passenger's seat area.

But why carry extra gallons? What's the point in even draining perfectly good antifreeze and putting clean antifreeze back? As long as it's still wet, I mean, that's all that matters.

I just recently did the servo bypass to this same car. Flushed out entire system as best as possible. 1 gallon coolant and about 1 gallon distilled water to replace.. still some old coolant mix inside the engine.
