123 300D Blower Motor

Finally got around to pulling the blower motor out of SWMBO's 84 300D to find out why it quit working one day.....turns out that the wire to one of the brushes had been rubbing up against the metal that spins...and it split the wire in half...

All I had to do was add solder to the wire and bring them together and bingo, she has heat again....

Also took care of a couple of doors that were real buggers to close...followed someones advice and screwed a screw into the inside bottom of the door striker to replace the rubber that was long gone....doors close and grab...best 10 minutes I've spent.

Could you please goin into detail about the door fix. My passenger side doors don't want to shut at all. I have to give it 2 or 3 good hard pulls to finally get it to latch.
