You have to see this....

I hope this isn't a repost. But, uh, what the heck.
Mercedes "street rod"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-Benz-200-Series-Street-Rod-1976-Mercedes-240D-El-Camino_W0QQitemZ180203001015QQihZ008QQcategoryZ6329QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Can you imagine driving down the street in this thing? Hey, at least it would turn heads.

Thumbs down The placement of the Mercedes star on the tailgate may be whimsical, and amusing but:

Oh dear. My eyes are bleeding. I would rather ride the bus "for eight wonderful years" than drive anywhere in that....that....thing.

That does not work on ANY level, not even parody. Even his dog chewed up the dashboard completely.

I can't believe things could be taken to a level THAT low.

Well, on second thought, I guess I could!!!

<shudders uncontrollably, turns away...>

Ok

He can pay me to strip and crush it.
The engine/transmission still has some value.

I would bid on it if it were in the midwest.....but in CA it would cost me over a thou to get it.

I probably would pay about 750 for it max. To the right person it is probably worth twice that.

Hell, a clean el camino bed is probably worth that much.

Oooof. My immediate reaction was that Benz and El Camino didn't belong in the same sentence. Then I saw it.
