euro interior on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-W123-Complete-Euro-interior-Seats-Door-Panels_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118QQcategoryZ33701QQihZ005QQitemZ150201361969QQrdZ1QQsspa genameZWD1V

Talk about rip off.. 700$ plus $400 shipping(local pickup preffered)... is the lube included? I totally got my interior at a serious steal! *cough* $95 *cough*.. I should have listed it and made some profit... However; this interior has been on ebay for a while now

Report it for excessive shipping. There is a link at the bottom of the auction page.

Show me where $400 shipping for front and rear seats and all door panels anywhere in 48 states is excessive. Sure you could strap it to a pallet unprotected and have it delivered to a loading dock somewhere Get real.

Door to door for 399.99? Show me how that could be beat? Keep in mind there's probably 3-4 hours (minimum) of packing and handling involved.

Is the product worth it, thats questionable but it depends on who needs it or wants it bad enough.

The $95 interior was a steal...how long did it take you to find, remove, haul home and whatever else was involved. I'll give you $150 delivered to 32210. Thanks

I reported it to ebay.. since the person has two auctions for the same thing...

took myself and James(Eagle-co94) 20 minutes to remove the seats and related interior bits from the 230E euro.. its just taken me weeks to install... so far its 80% complete.. still need front door interior panels and small carpet bits

How is a euro interior different from a U.S. interior?

Cloth seats. All the US interiors were MB-Tex or leather.

Velour was available in the US models on the earlier 123's though I've never seen one.

Never know. We may have seen one and mistaken it for a euro.

A rip in the seat bolster (easy fix) yeah right. only on E-Bay.
plus the seats look like they have water mark stains, or

The guy is way out of line on price. for that price I could get new seat
upholstery and redo mine. maybe not cloth, but Iam not into euro.

I've shipped front and rear seats coast to coast for about $100 for the fronts and $100 for the rear. The door panels should slip into a box and cost no more than $60-$70. Call it $300 to be safe and the guy is charging quite a bit for cardboard and labor.

$400 isn't out of line if he has no clue how to ship things...meaning he's shipping each seat separately.

That price should kill the deal regardless.

The auction's been pulled. Hopefully ebay gave the guy a chance to explain before yanking the auction...but I doubt it.
