i'm going to look at this car tomorrow,it has 141,000 miles,has been maintained ok,not like past M-B's that i've owned which have had all been serviced by the book!
my question is what should i look for and what are problem area's of this car,i've owned a 91 300e and it was a great car! the seller is asking $11000.00,i don"t know if this is high or low and the 140,000 miles scare me a bit!
any info you can give me pro or con's will be very helpful!
i'm not looking to buy problems and if his price is too high,what would be a good price to pay for it?

I have a 1991 300D, and like all diesels they will essentially run forever, IF ALL THE MAINTENANCE IS DONE. If the car has been maintained properly it should be a great car. I used to own a 1992 model which I sold at 208K
Probably the best car I have ever owned in terms of the combination of luxury and economy....but make sure it was taken care of!!
I bought mine at 77K and ALL SERVICES had been done at the selling MB dealer

If the records check out i'd get it. I want one of those really bad, I like the way that chasis looks and like the way those engines are supposed to run. By any chance is it in black?, if it does those look sweeeeet!
