That about $350 for a rebuilt one. Check THIS out a CCU unit on a past sale for $20

Assuming it actually works, it might end up being a good deal (depending how high it get bid up). Personally, I'm done playing with used CC amps and climate control units.

That's why I was looking at his feedback.

Some folks simply like to start their auctions low, so as to get people bidding. They know that we're not gonna let someone else get away with an apparently good cruise amp for $10.

Yep, it doesn't matter at all where the ad starts. You can bet he has an ebay ID that will keep it from being sold below where he wants it......

** so, the CC amp is different on 82-85 W123's? This particular one wouldn't work on an '80 240D??**

Yes, the later electronic actuator amps have more pin-outs for input back from the actuator amoung other things.

Even if the pins are the same, they're not all interchangeable. Some idiot put a 240D amp in my 300D (physically identical connections) but significantly under-damped for the car.

Whenever I auction something, like my 300SD I start it off at $1. Gets people interested.

Thumbs up I got one from them!

I posted in an earlier thread my good experience with a CC amp from the same vendor:
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=206920

I got mine for 22.50 plus 6.45 shipping:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=002&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=120186743078&rd=1

What I really liked was the exact match on the part number. The unit I received was in very good shape, with the tabs on the housing intact. They're used, not rebuilt, but according to their listing the units are tested.

Overall, I'm very pleased.

How about the 300D and 300SD, interchangeable?
