New windshield and rear window seal
I just had a local shop install a new windshield with new seal and a new rear window seal. Based on what I read on previous threads I asked about sealant for the seal. They said they use a urethane window sealant and told me not to close the doors with the windows shut, drive on rough roads, drive with the front side windows down and the rear side windows up or park on non-level ground for 48 hours after install. Interesting? Cost was $345 for windshield and seal installed and $200 for rear window seal installed. Hope it's water tight now!

I had a glass shop tell me that also, they want the sealant to cure
and set up. with the windows rolled up, the pressure of shuting the doors could break the seal and maybe a water leak. A year ago Oct, I had the rear window seal replaced, cost was $150.00. I even removed the window and had the new seal. all he had to do was install it. later I had to buy a tube of Urathane to seal things up. trunk was wetter after replacing the seal, won`t use that guy again.
