Bad Battery- Glow Plugs

Is it possible that a bad battery could be the cause of glow plug problems such as cold start and glow plug light not functioning normally?

A bad battery will show itself in reduced cranking speed or cranking time.

It won't affect the glow plug system until it's very low on voltage..........at which point the engine won't crank at all.
