Addicted to the forum!

I just joined this forum a couple of days ago and I can't stop reading it. There is so much incredible info on here. I posted a question and had an answer in 10 minutes. That is unbelievable! A great big thanks from the newbie.

Chris

Welcome Lunchmeat! Nice to see another '85 wagon owner! You could have worse addictions.

I spend my time researching and posting on the forums instead of watching TV. I will consider it a waste of time when I stop finding info and advice that save me time/aggravation and money. ... or when my car is finished (this option probably won't ever happen)

Set up your gallery so we can see some pics of your wagon.

Welcome, meat. Greetings from an older, slower TD brother. This place does a good job of keeping me from getting much work done. At least during our slow times.

Swamp,

If you send me some info about your heirloom seeds for my vegetable garden, you can legitimately justify your time here today.

Exactly.....that's precisely how I justify it too. I'd tell my boss that I'm networking (if he were to ask).

Lunchmeat - welcome to the forum - there's no turning back.

Another PA guy too. Are you by chance from Lebanon?

When I joined this forum I plugged "240D" into the search and had weeks of reading. I wouldn't have been able to do half of the repairs and overhauls without the help from this forum. So thanks guys

I should add, its just plain good entertainment sometimes, What, "never change my oil?"

I've probably spent thousands of hours on this site over the past few years....but it has saved me countless thousands in repair costs, and its a great place with great people. Welcome! I went from knowing very little about cars, to being able to do things I'd have never thought I could!

Sorry, that was a bad lunchmeat/bologna joke

Yeah, I've been in Media before....in highschool and college I installed a lot of pools in west chester/downington....so I know the area pretty well.

Chad will be a good resource for you....just offer him organic stuff or SLS parts and he'll help you out.

I've also been throwing around the idea of a PA GTG and have a decent list of interested dieselheads together. Although I've never been to one - I'm sure it's invaluable to meet up with other knowledgeable enthusiasts.

Welcome to the club, Lunchmeat. I've wasted countless hours on the forum since joining it. Also learned a lot and made a hell of a lot of friends.

Dee8go speaketh the truth...he HAS wasted countless hours on here.

The only problem in knowing that - is that it means I've read all his posts.
