A lot of you have commented in my "Tragedy Strikes" thread.

Roughly, what should I expect? I know its not worth much. It does have a brand new set of Michelins.

Car is in Tampa. Car has been in my family since new. I'll post pics tomorrow, let me know if there is anything in particular you would like to see.

hmmm...
we have a condo on sand key... so we're down there a lot.
and we also have a donor SDL && are looking for a VERY SOLID ... um... everything but engine tranny rear end.
let us know... my dad is really wanting to keep the miles off of his E320CDI & the SLK...
ours... just... well. we lived in upstate ny and got the SDL in albany... stayed there most of its life... and just... broke in two.

Got a possible solution, I have an 86 SDL I would like to sell to get diesel pickup. Bought from original owner, has lived its whole life in S Calif and S Florida. Did a 5500 mile road trip the fall, ran great. Have run it on vegoil, since I got it. Have spare parts that go with vehicle. Only thing doesn't work is AC, odometer, trip odometer, temp gauge below speedometer. Have pics, one little ding above pass tail light, only major rust hole is under driver door window rail support. Would like to get $4000.

I've got one.

My 1986 300SDL has ice cold AC, pure Southern car (no rust), odometer & trip odometer both work as does the temp gauge and speedometer. Everything works. Sunroof and windows works. Everything works. I bought the car last March from 3rd owner --- car has always been in the New Orleans area.

Trade you mine for yours plus $5000.

we're seriously just looking for a good body. thats it. ours has 130XXX on it and they were all put on by my parents... its grey on grey. great car. but the body is just shot its currently just... well... gutted.
i took out the MINT interior all glass. engine tranny and other gunk is coming out soon to put in a new one...
