240 stick Euro

This is right down the road from me, I saw it on Sun. and stopped
but no one was there. Not a bad looking car. If anyone is interested
I would be more than happy to check it out further.
I HAVE NO INTEREST IN THIS CAR.

Big error in the listing:
Quote:
THIS GERMAN BEAUTY DOES HAVE AN EXTRA 30 HORSEPOWER VERSUS AMERICAN MODELS.
It also does have power locks, the power antenna looks to be stuck half-mast and the seat color does not match the car.

JIMMYL Your name is all over it you better grab it.

My understanding is that the fabric seat covers are no longer available.
IS that color available in MB Tex through one of the after market vendors?
There are several out there.

I did our SD with MB Tex instead of Leather through one of them.
Much cheaper.

Rare chance but the German version might have the 72bhp engine instead of the US 65bhp one. Apart from that the only way to get power out of OM616 is to turbocharge it as the factory has done, the power goes up to a respectable 91bhp but then it becomes a pain to keep the turbo spooled with the standard 4 speed and would need the close ratio euro 5 speed from the 300TD.

It states that the compressor is missing, but I don't see any AC lines under the hood either.....

good catch jimmy, no lines. I have seen several different aftermarket a/c installs on these 123's and there are always lines somewhere in the engine bay... I see none either.

I would like to point out... and don't go saying im lying... but back when i was looking for an S... I looked @ 95 S500 that this guy had. i didn't see it online, just stumbled on it randomly while driving down Ft. Harrison...
this car was basically handed off to yet another dealership and I'm 99.9% sure that car is still there. anywho.
this guy... is a crook. I've been to his shop...
its this janky little lot w/ very few desirable pieces of automobilia sitting right across the street from a nursing home type building (Prospect Towers)...
just throwing it out there...

My thoughts exactly, I love it! The palomino seats don't look too bad though. Too bad it's in Florida and is not a 5 speed.

I can get you seats from an ivory interior to put in there; bet that would match well. I've almost got this guy convinced to part out his 79 230 euro.

Cool car! Someone needs to grab it.
