Kelly blue book dosen't cover 1986 and older cars. What's a 1986-300sld with about 100K miles , in good condition, worth? The dealer is asking 7995. I know that you can not give me a "sound" number without more info, but I'm just looking for a ballpark number. Thanks, Jay

Let's see.........22 year old vehicle........100K miles on the clock........4545 miles per year.
Think that's accurate? Think again. |

It could happen. I had a Lincoln Town Car that showed 96,000 on the five digit odometer when I bought it. I kind of assumed it was really 196,000, but I Carfaxed it and it turns out the car only rolled about 2,000 miles a year for its first 8 years (In West Palm Beach-I don't know the age of the original owner, but I'll be he wasn't young).
